Our Story …

We’re incredibly excited to announce that Team C1 Speed will be taking on the Mystery Box Rally again in 2026 after an unforgettable first rally in 2025!

The Mystery Box Rally is a journey built on the unknown, much like the path faced by those diagnosed with cancer. No family chooses that road, and no one knows what challenges tomorrow will bring. Every kilometre we drive is in honour of those who have fought, those still fighting, and those we’ve lost.

This isn’t just any road trip- it’s five days, around 2,500 kilometres, one old car and a whole lot of heart. Starting and finishing in Charleville, each day’s destination remains a complete mystery until just before we set off the following morning. Every unexpected turn reminds us why we’re there: not just for the adventure, but to help make a real difference in the fight against cancer.

Cancer has touched our lives - and the lives of so many in our community. We’re doing this for our family, our friends and every single person impacted by cancer. Every dollar raised goes directly to Cancer Council to fund vital cancer research and support services, helping families when they need it most.

To take part, we need to raise a minimum of $4,000, but we’re aiming much higher. Our goal is to raise $15,000 and make an even bigger impact.

If you’re able to donate, whether it’s $5 or $500, we’d be incredibly grateful for your support. Together, we can help fund life-saving research, support those affected by cancer, and drive change - one kilometre at a time.

Here's what I'm doing …

Mystery Box Rally is a 5-day challenge like no other. Participants drive 25+ year old cars along a mystery route, through some of Australia’s most stunning (and often rugged) landscapes, all in support of cancer research. It’s not a race—it’s a challenge and more importantly, a celebration of the power of community.

Yes, the cars break down, and yes, there are plenty of unexpected twists along the way, but that’s all part of the fun. The rally is designed to be a colourful and unpredictable experience, where teams travel in small groups, helping each other along the way. And when the day’s drive ends, we gather around the campfire, share stories, and reflect on the day’s achievements.

This event brings together people who have been impacted by cancer in different ways—whether it's through their own battles or through loved ones. Together we’ll make memories that last a lifetime while supporting the fight against cancer.

Founded in 2009, Box Rallies has raised well over $50 million for cancer research with our chosen beneficiary being Cancer Council.
